The Saucony Triumph 20 Runshield is Saucony’s most shock absorbant high mileage running shoe for runners who prefer a neutral running shoe. Seeing as this is the Runshield version, it is made with a waterproof upper that is perfect for winter weather. This is 20th edition and features full PWRRUN+ in the entirety of the midsole, which a brand new type of foam from Saucony that gives you even more softness, responsiveness and flexibility than before. Comfort has also been prioritised highly in the design process, but the shoe has also been made lighter than the previous version, so it feels both soft and light to wear. In addition, it is made with Saucony’s SpeedRoll technology that “tips” your foot forward through each step you take. On the outsole, you get a layer of rubber in the most exposed areas, but not over the entire sole so as to keep the overall weight down. The upper is made of a mesh material with internal straps that keep the foot in place and provide stability.
