Ultra Glide is a completely new shoe from Salomon. Actually its a completely new type of shoe. Salomon have expanded their range with a shoe which excels by being softer than Salomons other shoes. Its a shoe for trail runs focused around comfort.

Outsole

The Contagrip rubber on the outsole of Salomons Ultra Glide provides a great grip. The 4 mm ligs guarantees a trail shoe well suited for mixed terrain. 

Midsole

The Energy Surge midsole provides soft and comfortable cushioning. Its a new material in Salomons range which is a mix of EVA and Olefin, which is very durable. In addition to the new foam, the shoe is designed with a rocker geometry providing a light gait and a rolling sensation from landing to takeoff. Salomon have also inserted their Profeel Film technology to prevent rocks from penetrating the shoe while it also contributes to increased stability. 

Upper

The 3D mesh upper provides great breathability and comfort. It has been reinforced with rubber in strategic spots mostly exposed to wear and tear to make it last mile after mile.
