Upper

The upper is designed with a waterproof GoreTex coating to prevent water from penetrating in order to keep your feet dry and comfortable. In addition this shoe is produced with a soft and enclosing elastic tongue to provide additional comfort and max. freedom of motion as it produces a better lock-in for your foot. 

Midsole

The La Sportiva Jackal is designed with an innovative EVA-midsole with inside cushioning pads ensuring great shock absorption and lots of return energy thanks to the Infinitoo-technology. The front element of the midsole improves the cushioning while the rear contributes to stabilizing your run. The midsole is also designed with a high density EVA-rock plate to protect your feet against impact from rocks, roots, etc.. 

Outsole

The outsole is designed in Frixion Red with flex grooves to improve the curve and flexibility of the sole. This provides a more natural gait, as it provides more freedom of motion for your feet.
