Hoka Challenger ATR 7 is a versatile trail shoe that works really well as a hybrid shoe, where you run from one terrain to another. In this 7th version of the shoe, the weight is still kept low, which makes the shoe more usable on various distances. With an updated HOKA CMEVA midsole material, you get a shoe that ensures good stability in the terrain, but also provides high shock absorption when you hit firmer ground. The outsole has reinforced areas with Zonal rubber. The outsole is made with 4mm studs, providing a good but not too aggressive grip in the terrain. Hoka is working towards more sustainable production, therefore, this version is also made with recycled Unifi REPREVE® yarn in the upper. In this 7th version of the shoe, an extension of the heel cap has also been made, for extra comfort and protection of the Achilles tendon.
