Asics Magic Speed 2 is Asics’ take on a fast shoe for interval/tempo training or competition. 

It has received quite a few updates compared to the first edition of the Asics Magic Speed, among other things the foam has changed, so you now get Asics top foam, FF Blast+ in the midsole. In addition, you get a carbon-infused plate in the midsole, which gives the shoe stiffness and stability. Magic Speed is still made to last more kilometers than the typical carbon racing shoes. Therefore, it is an obvious training shoe for your fast training sessions, or an obvious competition shoe if you want something soft and fast that can last for many kilometers.
